Due to the tremendous amount of residents looking to prepay their 2018 property taxes, the Tax Office at the Municipal Building will be open on Saturday 12/30/17 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
Please be advised, in order to be of greater service to Montgomery residents, we are accepting prepayments of 2018 property taxes. To make a prepayment, please come to the tax window at the Municipal Building. Our office hours this week are 12/27/17 & 12/28/17 8:00-4:30 and 12/29/17 8:00-2:30.

A new street sign at the front entrance to Montgomery High School now declares it “1st Lt. Ashley Henderson-Huff Memorial Drive”. On the morning of December 19th Ashley’s father Mark Henderson, the Montgomery Veterans Memorial Committee, Montgomery Township School District administrators, Rolling Thunder and Military Order of the Purple Heart representatives, students, teachers, and many honored guests attended a ceremony to unveil the new sign, followed by an indoor assembly about Ashley for high school juniors and seniors.
First Lieutenant Henderson-Huff was a 2000 graduate of Montgomery High School. She was 23 when she was killed in a suicide bomber attack on September 19, 2006 in Mosul, Iraq. She was honored post-mortem by the Military Order of the Purple Heart for her service to the United States, as well as receiving many other honors.Read more . . . .
Mark Conforti was sworn in as the new mayor of Montgomery Township at the reorganization meeting held at the municipal building on Monday, January 8.

Montgomery residents who would like to volunteer to serve on a municipal board, commission or committee are encouraged to apply for position appointments for 2018. Montgomery residents serve on many of the Township's over 30 committees. Most of the appointments are made in the beginning of January but vacancies can open up any time throughout the year. Some of the boards meet regularly once or twice a month while others schedule their meetings as they go. Most but not all meet at night. Some are permanent committees while others are ad hoc, created to tackle a specific issue. Besides full member positions, there are alternate and advisory positions available. Depending on the position, terms can be one, two or three years in length.Read More
